Laboratory Information Management System LIMS (SLIS)

This is a Medical Laboratory information system that is used to provide or enhance the input of patient Biological specimen’s data, process the data and produce results that are used by clinicians to diagnose and manage patients. Besides processing of specimens data it provides a platform for billing of patients and produces Medical aid submission lists that can be used to claim from medical Aid societies as well as provides a platform for data exchange with Pastel Accounting system. The system features are specified in detail below.

Veterinary System VERT (SLIS)

This is a Veterinary Laboratory information system that is used to provide or enhance the input of patient Biological specimen’s data, process the data and produce results that are used by veterinary doctors to diagnose and manage patients. Besides processing of specimens data it provides a platform for billing of patients as well as provides a platform for data exchange with Pastel Accounting system. The system features are specified in detail below.

Accounts System (SIL BOOKS)

This is a Medical Laboratory information system that is used to provide or enhance the input of patient Biological specimen’s data, process the data and produce results that are used by clinicians to diagnose and manage patients. Besides processing of specimens data it provides a platform for billing of patients and produces Medical aid submission lists that can be used to claim from medical Aid societies as well as provides a platform for data exchange with Pastel Accounting system. Laboratory Quality Managemnet System (LQMS)

This is a electronic version of Laboratory quality management system that is used to provide feather features not included in LIS but putting more emphasis on Quality management. It covers the various aspects covered in ISO 15189 including capturing non conformance, Instrument servicing schedules, Inventory Management, Resolutions of complaints and document controlling. This can be provided or combined with the LIS or can be provided as a separate system depending on what the client wants.
